getting very excited about vday presents.. nana and i have drawn up a list of people we are gonna give presents to, and presents that we are gonna share and give to people from t5. we are gonna go material shopping at spotlight next fri then she'll come over to my place another day and we'll get started on those presents. (:
did a naughty thing today.. told laoshi that i had a tummyache and "escaped" to the toilet. ended up chit-chatting at the stairway for the entire period. then again, i dont think he really cares.
had lunch with hema at kfc.. after eating so much chicken, i think both of us will either grow feathers or be the first to get bird flu.. *touch wood* had a great time talking to her.. miss t4 a lot, but somehow feel very distant at the same time. guess that feeling is inevitable. well, at least i know that ill always have them in my heart. (:
anybody watched < american idol > yesterday? it was the talk of my class (both t5 and t4) today.. everyone was imitating that guy who sang "she bangs" and doing those funny actions he did.. gosh, he really cant coordinate his limbs.. especially the "she stings like a bee" part.. it was hilarious. but im really glad that jasmine ( i think thats her name, the girl who is really small sized) made it.. at least this shows that they really go for talent and did not discriminate her. (:
got a geog drq test on tues. better get studying.

im in sucha lala mood today~ (:
supposed to have cross country today, but it got postponed till a later date due to the rain. thank my lucky stars for that. school was scheduled to end at 1230 today so that we'll have sufficient time to eat, change and get there on time but since the event didnt take place, classes ended the normal time, and lucky for my, i ended at 1350.. not like 2t04, they end at 1710. poor things. so, after classes ended, nana and i headed straight to the canteen for our yongtaufoo, only to have jason asking us to go out for lunch with the class.. but we didnt go cos our yongtaufoo was already being cooked.
anyway, after eating, nana and i decided to go spotlight to see if we can get any inspirations for vday presents, and i tell you, we are like two goons first time stepping into spotlight, we got so excited at almost everything we saw, cos we thought that almost everything could be made into great vday presents. so bascially, we were making a lot of noise. but we had fun. gotta go back again some time next week to get our materials so that we can get everything nice and ready for vday. (:
met giam at bishan after that.. we had so much for dinner. char kway teow, satay beehoon, mixed beef soup, fried dumplings, redruby and chendol. im stuffed now.

off to bathe and either slack or watch tv or nap. either way, everyone must catch < american idol > tonight.. last night's was hilarious. but it kinda got a little freaky when whenever one of the contestants started singing, there would be thunder in the background (it was raining heavily over in texas where they held the audition), but when she stopped, the thunder stopped too. /:

managed to drag nana to town with me to have lunch.. had a sudden craving for longjohns.. love the fish and the fries and the coleslaw. -drools- managed to have our lunch in peace before those secondary school girls brought the place down with their loud voices, as though they wanted the whole of fareast to hear their conversation. went to take a neo after that and it came out great! i simply love stripes!! (: nana and i agreed that we shall take at least a neo every month.. and since she's gonna stay on after first three months, im gonna have her for the next 2 years!! -jumps ard-

finally did the 4.2km run today... im tired but not that tired cos i practically walked the entire distance. luckily i didnt have to cross the overhead bridge in order to get home.. so not that bad.

thurs & fri
visited relatives for both days.. ate so many pineapple tarts and those tiny shrimp rolls. yummy. lesser angbaos this year.. but who cares? all the money goes into the bank anyway, dont get to keep any of it..

was supposed to go mr ngs house to visit but didnt in the end. so tan and az came early in the morning to turn my room upside down, made me cook instant noodles for them, and talked crap with my mummy, and left happily with their oranges and angbaos. (: since it was pouring, we shared a cab and my cousin and i dropped at bishan to go catch < magic kitchen >. not that fantastic, but not that bad either.
my brothers friends came over in the afternoon and didnt leave till at night, so i was stuck at my cousins place the whole day. tried to roast some marshmallows over the stove but it caught fire instead. looks like roasted marshmallows can only be done over a bbq pit.
today
went to uncle simon's place for lunch.. ate soooo much. there was so much food to eat. he takes hours to prepare them but its all gone in less than half the time. stayed there from 1300 to 1900. sat around eating and talking.
took quite a few pics over the last couple of days. but i cant seem to access my gallery.. grr. ill just die if sth goes wrong and all my pics are gone. ):

todays cny celebration in school was pretty great. one more thing to add why i like t5.. most love taking pics! (: haha. we had loads of fun taking pics. will upload them soon hopefully, now that my brother is staying at home, cant come online as often.
anyway, ate so much. first was food from my class : scrambledeggs, bacon, "shepherdspie", orangejuice, wafflescrisp&coldmilk,
inedible chinchow, etc. basically western breakfast. then went to t4 and ate again.. there was roastduck, real lasagne, friedrice, sotongballs, drinks, jelly, etc.
supposed to go town with rik, sunita, lye and eunice, but in the end ended up at swensens at thomson eating icecream with hema. she came over to my place and we nearly died inhaling all those nailpolish vapour. walked her out to take a cab but every single one was occupied.. damn annoying when theres no cab around.
off to bathe then nap. just in case i dont come online again,

went for a short lil dinner at
ivins with tan and az yesterday. the food was not too bad, especially the rendangchicken & dessert. (: nice tan walked me to thomson afterwards although she was already late for cell. thank dear!
dad bought a new tv just now.. 39" i think. guess the promoter must be de-stressing now after serving my dad. that poor fella. after they fix it up on thurs, im gonna go dvd shopping and have a moviemarathon. (:
agreement #1 : 3 a level passes for the tests/exams after first 3 mths and a new system (dvd+vcd+cd+tuner) will appear in my room.
agreement #2 : improvement from previous first 3 mths results for mid-yrs/promos (yet to be confirmed) will result in a new computer in my room. hopefully it comes with internet access.

ive came to the conclusion that if the day comes and i have to kill somebody, mrdancer will be the first i slaughter. he's sucha rude ass. first he fights with me for the whiteboard marker, then he fights with me to design the neoprint, then he fights me with me for a piece of paper. does it give him an adrenaline rush doing other people's jobs? or should i say fighting with them for their duties? the second one will be
the junior. not as bad, but bad enough.

double period of mass pe and the lastest day of the week of which school ends is over and done with.
had elections for class committee today.. everyone was supposed to nominate two people for any two post and nobody got chosen for econs.. this goes to show how "unwanted" the teacher is.. mr t. is good.. kept cracking jokes during lect and tutorial.. makes the lesson interesting.
stop rubbing salt into my wounds. they hurt like hell on their own, there's no need for you to add to it.

got my timetable today.. its not that bad actually. end at 1710 on mons, 1430 on tues and 1350 for the rest of the week. pe is the last 2 periods of mon and second period on wed mornings.
due to the commencement ceremony this morning, didnt get to go for glascow's lecture, so dont know how is he like.. but i do know that my chinese teacher is the chinese version of eltonjohn (same kind of hair), and his pants are damn high.. ribster style. alvinsaw is still the same as last year but somewhat stricter. suits me just fine. wonder who is my pe teacher though.. heard that j1s already started pe in a fashion similar to mass pe.
the weekend is finally here. time to do some
shopping (still need my track shoes), get some
work done and last but not least,

sch was great today.. not the day itself, but the time classes ended for me. 1230. what a great time. (:
think my class is pretty okay.. people like regina, winnie, angel, the 3 stnix girls, raj, colin, etc. they are all nice, outgoing and love to talk crap. hopefully, they'll change their minds abt leaving after march..
my econs teacher is nice as a person (i think) but i think she suits line-dancing at the cc more than teaching.. nobody pays attention to her during lect, at least the back doesnt, cos she speaks unclearly, by the time sound travels to the back of the theatre, her words are all jumbled up. and she took one freaking period to go through one slide, which only had like 5 points on what is economics? oh ya, no lecture notes this yr? all will have to rely on copying? wth.
looking forward to lit lect tmr with mrglascow.. heard that he's good and makes people laugh with his notfunny jokes.

last day of orientation today.. quite fun actually.
managed to have a break while the rest had to go for the talk on the pearls system, nyaa, cip, etc. so went to visit t4. had cca selection, so i signed up on netball and cac... quite surprising that i signed up for cac, but i see bri always so free, so give it a shot. major slacker.
inter-family performances were put up, and while last year's overused song was the ketchup song, this year is the gatsby advert.. since my class is so musically inclined, we sung "stand by me".. freaking embarrassing. so i stood right at the back, hoping that no one could see me. mass dance was a mess, no space to turn at all.
supposed to join my class for dinner, but went for dinner with giam instead. had a great chat with her, and both of us ate so much.
school starts tmr. time to hit the books. hope my timetable isnt that bad... and of course, get good teachers.. but i guess thats a bit hard, excluding geog (since cj only has 4 geog teachers). sadly, i aint getting mr leong for econs. thats one sad case.

dragonboating wasnt exactly as fun as i expected it to be.. the first time was much more satisfying, the teamwork was great, and the people actually listened to instructions. todays event was more of tapping the water surface and drinking saltwater. the initial excitement has since deflated..
think im too used to giam's way of doing things.. i dislike/cannot accept the way chan does things. claims to be diplomatic leans towards the monopolistic side. then whats the use of asking of suggestions when in the end the result is something so different? urgh. to be under him for the next three months and possibly the next two years..

so far so good.. my classmates are ok. 6 guys and 13 girls. ht = a.chan. he isnt
that bad although i would very much prefer mr saw or mr low or mr t.. guess ill just have to make do and hope that second intake would get me a better ht.
dragonboating tmr.. absolutely excited. mine's the afternoon shift, please dont rain like today... i want the weather to be similar to that of new year's eve.
walked in the rain just now.. it felt good, but the consequence hurts.

HAPPY 2004 !
blogged last night, but blogger decided to screw up on new year's eve.
had a really great day yesterday.. the best i had to end off 2003. first was dragonboating at kallang. think the people on the same boat as me were fun and great teamwork, we had loads of fun splashing other boats with saltwater and getting drenched ourselves too.
supposed to go queensway to get new shoes, but decided to go swimming instead with val. we tanned a little, im proud to say that im slightly darker although my cheeks hurt a little now, but not as bad as
xiaohong. (: wyn came over to my place too, and we took loads of pics (which have already been uploaded). that silly bimbo hogged my bed, said the aircon wasnt too cold for her, but started sneezing, and after she woke up, hogged the computer, cursing and swearing at the "pairing game" and getting major stressed up when i put the timer on. her priorities are mahjong first, mummy second. haiz.
