its amazing how a twenty-five year old guy can make so many people swoon over him. he is not drop dead gorgeous though he has this shy smile complete with a dimple and small eyes. yet, its his pure talent that makes everyone go "WHOA!". his piano skills are fantastic.. just seeing his fingers fly over the keys, producing such wonderful music makes paying $128 and waiting for 45 minutes for the concert to start all worthwhile.

yup, i am talking about "Incomparable To Jay" World Tour 2004" that ended last night. sadly. no doubt the whole stadium was filled with screaming fans waving lightsticks to the rhythm of the beat (well, tickets for last night were sold out)singing alongside to his songs. im no different, except for the absence of the lightsticks. overall, it was really really really good. the only anti-climax part would be when landy appeared, it was quite obvious that she didnt receive as much attention from the audience as nanquanmama. the latter was quite good too, each member could play a musical instrument, especially when one of them had a piano duet with jaychou. the cameraman just focused on their fingers and the stadium was so quiet, everyone intently watching the both of them perform before bursting into cheers when the piece ended.

well, obviously not many would share my joy about jaychou.. but each to his own. everybody has their own definition of musical talents, but i guess it all boils down to be being able to play a musical instrument and sing at the same time. so, im open to all kinds of music, rock bands to chinese acts like jaychou.

thus, to people like mr colin low, dont be so evil! i hope you get hungry every night! pleh. lol.

the taxi-driver that sent us home was so annoying. he kept harping on how he travelled all the way from geylang to kallang to pick us up, and that there were so many people flagging him down. i almost told him off. nobody asked him to answer the dispatch, so if he didnt want to interrupt his tauhuay session, then ignore the call! grrrr.

one more concert tonight. boy, this is a real busy weekend. tonight will be a sort of oldies concert at the esplanade "A Date with Friends, Yesterday Once More " my dad's golf friend, Matthew Tan, will be performing, so we are gonna give him some support. (:

science centre briefing. super boring. only 2 students and 2 teachers. i had no idea what was going on but cos the manager was looking at me constantly, i had to cook up something that made it sound as though im miss know-it-all. headed down to the airport afterward to send giam off. well, she did cry in the end, and she was the only one crying too. gabriel is soooo cute! avid fan of cookiemonster and brotherbear that kid is.

its sort of a repetition day today. bumped into szu while waiting to cross the road; had dinner at scotts; yummy yami for dessert. even walked the same shops as yesterday - m&s, zara and espirt.

i hate myself for treating you that way.. but it comes naturally. somehow. have a good trip.

caught The Incredibles today with szu and pris. its reallyy nice! i love the baby! darn cute. even more when it turned into the "spawn of the devil" to quote szu towards the end of the movie. hilarious. i wouldnt mind watching it again. :D had yamiyoghurt and my dose of coffee. im happy. to top it all off, bought a nice lovely white bag. i want the pink one too! -looks at szu- walked down to tm to pay szu's sis a visit. she looked quite glad to see us if i may say so. haha.

anyway, supps are over. szu and pris are relieved. so am i. no more sleepless nights, tossing and turning from like one plus to four before having to get up at six thirty to msg both of them to wish them good luck. after i msg them, i fall back to sleep but this time with weird dreams. tattoos? crap.

my legs are aching.

after a super fast dinner at a fast food restaurant at kap, we flew down to uncle john's place for some movie unheard of. uncle john was my ex-neighbour, super funny guy. very sincere. just makes you wanna joke around with him all day long. you can have absolutely no idea what he is talking about sometimes (cos my dialect isnt exactly my forte), but just looking at his facial expressions and gestures, you just wanna laugh wholeheartedly. nothing to hold back. thats how wonderful he is. anyway, the aim was to test out his new theatre system, but the movie didnt do it justice cos there wasnt much action and drama like that of lord of the rings. but it turned out fantastic when we moved on to karaoke afterward. looks like someone can carry a tune pretty well eh? ;)

if i lived alone at uncle john's place, ill knock down the walls of his master bedroom, so the living room is larger; then the room next to the kitchen so i can cook up a storm; combine the two rooms on either side of the toilet and make that my bedroom. ah. the wonders of imagination and money. oh well, im still pretty satisfied with my current place. accessible and buses straight to town, bishan, amk, etc. not to mention thomson plaza within walking distance. to top it off, ntuc, popular, jeanyip and starbucks. not to mention the fact that col will "send" me to my bus-stop and ill wait with him for his bus to come before i walk home. free going home partner without having to look for one.

time to change out and lie in bed. tv time. nights.

just got back from turf city. seafood for dinner. managed to satisfy my craving for clams and much more. so full now. think i need to swim again tmr. walked around giant to aid digestion. ended up buying a two litre bottle of rose syrup to make bandung and cute-looking, yummy-tasting fish-shaped biscuits. the guy was very nice.. he gave us another big scoop of biscuits for free. that one scoop would be about 150g? yay! haha. i think i can fill a small aquarium with the amount of fish-shaped biscuits i have.

all those studying for supps.. study hard.

i simply love msn. haha. talking absolute rubbish with people who make my nights filled with laughter. what would i do without my late night chat partners. people like col, kk, lik, szu. this people crack me up like no others.

currently, col and i are fighting over bsb (bread soaked in butter) and bbs (bread, butter and sugar). which is better? you tell me. in another window, kk and i are fighting over how efficient our "secretarys" are in dealing with things.

sigh. what sad boring life i lead. depending on virtual chat to get all excited.
