time.it is such a weird, actually, contradicting thing. people always say, "time heals all wounds", that the disappointment and anger from fighting for something you really wanted but ultimately did not belong to you will one fine day vanish, peace after a storm, because you think it through and realise maybe, all things happen for a reason, so ill just move on from here and see where ill end up. yet, things will always crop up to remind you that your past will always be lurking in a corner, waiting to pounce on you to remind you that like a shadow, it will always exist and there is no way of removing it entirely from your life.
no doubt from a positive point of view, it serves as a reminder to make you more cautious of what consequences your actions will bring but like anything in excess, it will only cause you to be so conscious of what you do that sometimes you forget what you really want to do, focusing more on what you
should and as a result, elimintating the joy component that comes along with doing things you actually like.
yet on the other hand, time can really make things change for the better.
to be happy that things once happened or to feel sorry that they did happen?

the internet's been a bitch again but in a way im glad for the abstinence from the virtual world and indulge in something more fulfilling like visiting the library and coming home with some good books. wally lamb's "i know this much is true", for example. headed down to kino to get 2 books, one of which i had read before in cj's library while studying for the exams - anchee min's "empress orchid". its absolutely wonderful. a must-get.
the week passed by in a flash and work just gets better. a sense of satisfaction overwhelms me each time a regular customer says "hello there!" or smiles with recognition when before, they had a slight look of disapproval as i struggled with their orders or forgetting to call out their orders in a haste to serve the next customer. im not saying im great at what i do but i would say each shift i work, i learn something new and thats what keeping me from quitting. that and all that interaction with customers and partners. im loving' it! haha. (exclude trash runs though) then again, there are of course unreasonsable and demanding customers who ought to be told "FUCK OFF!!"
school's starting in two weeks time and im feeling quite excited about it. fingers are crossed (toes too!) for nice classmates and easy-peasy modules! haha!
