bleah.
ive been super unlucky for the past two days. think : bus break down, taking the wrong bus, running for the correct bus, getting caught in the rain and walking home in the rain, and other more embarrassing events.
hopefully when Bad Luck finds someone else to play a prank on, Good Luck will take pity on me and give me pleasant surprises.
now its back to an unfortunate cycle of assignments, homeworks and quizzes.

fifteen meals in three days.
im not exaggerating. all because my parents are away for a short trip and ive been out all day since thursday. i think subconsciously i miss them a lot and the sudden freedom took over, so supper is a must with all my lovelys.
thurs was such a busy day. airport-school-vivo-town-samsplace-geylang. from 0630 to 0230. all the mad rush and fucking blisters and unexpected buys and surprising sandra cos it was her birthday on friday. hope she liked the presents and cake we got for her. and ended off with supper at geylang - doujiangyoutiao (soy milk + frieddoughsticks). it was absolutely heartwarming to have all us 7 girls and the 2bfs sitting around the table chatting and eating. (it wont be happening in the near future unless my parents go for another trip ;) ).
fri didnt start for me till noon when i woke up in shock realising that i didnt hear my alarm go off so i missed my lesson in the morning. but i FINALLY met ms.toh and i am so glad that we still have so much to talk about! (: went to her place to visit before cabbing down to sandra's to have supper with her and sam.
today was out getting a dress that i saw yesterday cos i couldnt resist plus going down to my grandparents' place to have dinner with them. (: im glad that now we are matured enough to wanna spend time with them and not take for granted that they are gonna be around forever. after it was to a friend's chalet where we ate and chatted and ate.
tmr will be another day spent doing anything but studying. got a lunch appt and after that, its to the airport to pick my parents up followed by dinner at sakae at 1830.
sigh. where did the weekend disappear to?

nostalgiawent back to cj today and the impact of going through the memories archives have yet to settle, leaving me now to relish upon those days in blue.
shant say any more, because i cant seem to be able to put those feelings in words and somehow, literating them just makes that heartwarming feeling seem less... heartwarming.
even those days of liking someone seem sweet.

i used to think that the life of a university student would be hectic, with endless readings and deadlines and every single waking moment will be spent on schoolwork, even compromising on sleep to get all the work done. with or without a part-time job to compete for time.
well, i thought wrong.
not that i don't have readings to do or deadlines to meet. i just neglect them. and mid-terms totally brought that to my attention cos im like waking up at 6 on the days of the paper to start studying, not revise. not like there's no competition amongst the students to get a gpa as high as the sky, but the competition is so under wraps (unlike during As when you knew that whoever wasnt outright studying, were all burning the midnight oils at home) that i forgot the existence of it.
guess its time to reflect and start doing repair work once the mid-terms are over cos i really dont wanna retake any modules and in no way, compromise on the chances of being able to go to ny for the last couple of semesters.
