the new blogger confuses me.
anyway, happy new year everyone!
nothing much to talk about reunion dinners and red packets cos they are the same every year and this year is lesser than last because of the few relatives that are no longer around. to me, its more of a time to remember them and their good rather than just indulging in all the new year goodies and idle talk. plus the festive mood aint exactly strong. driving from place to place on the first two days and everywhere was so quiet, only caught a glimpse of three liondance troupes in total. they used to be everywhere and you'll hear them even before you spot them.
had no school this entire week. initially thought it was a short break that coincided with the cny, but should have known better. it ended up being a studybreak cos when school reopens on monday, its time to submit all the assignments and midterms begin. i did write down all thats due and upcoming events in my trusty organizer and vowed to complete all of them before the end of the break, but i gave in to temptation and have been youtube-ing since cny eve. now its a mad rush to complete the assignments according to submission date and try to think of times when i can slot in some form of studying/reading for midterms. but im still hooked onto youtube and i give myself a reward (of an hour) for every 15 minutes of solid work i do. oops!
OH! just remembered that i spoke to eden the other day and she's coming back in may!! more or less confirmed but dependent on the availability of air tickets. so if that's good, she'll be back for my birthday and thats all i need. especially with the big deal about turning twenty-one. (:
